On the V-shaped stainless steel blades of the V1 ClassicLine, V3 TrendLine, V5 PowerLine and V6 ExclusiveLine, Börner Distribution International GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “Börner”) grants a Börner guarantee that goes beyond the two-year statutory warranty for a total of 5 years from the date of purchase .


1. Only the V-shaped stainless steel knives are subject to this Borner guarantee. All other parts, such as the base body, inserts, feet or other accessories are not subject to the Börner guarantee.

2. The Börner guarantee applies exclusively to the purchase of a new product and exclusively to consumers and the initial purchaser of the product and is not transferable.

3. The Börner guarantee is only valid in total if the buyer reports to Börner on the Börner homepage ( under the menu item “Börner guarantee” according to the following provisions at the latest one month after the date of purchase of the product, after specifying the necessary there Registered data. Registration is basically done by entering the customer data as follows: name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, serial number of the product, date of purchase, place of purchase / platform.

In addition, the registration process results from the above menu item, which must be observed. Börner reserves the right to change this information at its own discretion, which then apply in the respective form. The time of registration does not change anything at the beginning of the Börner guarantee from the date of purchase of the product.

4. The prerequisite for the assertion of a claim from the Börner guarantee is, in addition to the registration according to section 3, professional use and maintenance, in particular in accordance with the operating instructions for the product. The guarantee expires if the product has not been used for normal household purposes and as soon as changes are made to the device.

In particular, it also expires if the serial number has been changed or otherwise becomes illegible or is no longer fully recognizable. It does not apply to normal wear and tear. Except for the extension of the deadline in the present case, the remaining contents of the warranty remain the same as the statutory provisions. The warranty period is not extended due to the granting of services within the scope of the warranty, in particular it does not start again in these cases.

5. The warranty recipient can exercise his rights from this warranty by reporting the error in writing to Börner Distribution International GmbH, Börner industrial area. 1, 54526 Landscheid-Niederkail, by email to: or by contacting Börner on the homepage within the warranty period. It is also a prerequisite that the warranty recipient reports the error within one month of having recognized it or should have recognized it. It is the responsibility of the warranty recipient to prove that the warranty period has not expired or has expired (for example by presenting the purchase receipt, the purchase contract, etc.).

6. In the event of a warranty, Börner is free to repair the product, replace it or reimburse the warranty recipient for the purchase price. When exchanging, the old product will be replaced free of charge with a new product of the same type and quality.

7. In addition to the rights from this extended warranty, the statutory rights apply unchanged. This warranty also does not affect the rights that the first customer / consumer has against the seller from whom the first customer / consumer purchased the product.

The place of performance for the obligations arising from this warranty is Börner’s registered office. As far as legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Börner’s place of business.
